Is it important to pray for fellow believers? Is it important for fellow believers to pray for you?

We all go through problems and hardships, sometimes we feel like God has forgotten all about us, he does not seem to care anymore. Other times we try to do things our own way, go for a new job, new relationship, then we find ourselves ending up with major failure, then again we start to blame God for not contributing toward the solution.

We all live in a fast, busy life, busy with work, studies, social life and sometimes busy with ministry. We cannot even make up time for our relationship with God. Always making up excuses. The consequences are, we sometimes take wrong decisions or go through a lot of trials. There is no communication line opened between God and us. When we fall into troubles, we sometimes find it hard to pray, some people feel guilty, saying: how am I going to be able to stand up before God and ask for help after trying to solve it in every way I could and only seek his help last? No, I don’t deserve it and God will not listen to me anyway, they say. Let me tell you, the only way out is PRAYER, if you cannot pray, or feeling down and words are just not coming out of your mouth, my suggestion to you is to get someone to pray with you or for you.

Some people have a strong and steady relationship with God, they are always in continuous prayer to God, BUT from time to time they too need to be united with other fellow believers in prayer, asking for wisdom toward a particular situation. Or they are about to take a major decision and they ask for God’s wisdom. We all need to pray for each other.
